Conclusions:

1. Bible truths are perfectly true in every culture, in every time of history, and for every person.
2. According to Acts 2:42-47 (and the rest of the New Testament) five of the most basic ingredients of a church include: worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism and ministry to others. When a group of Christ-followers is doing these things they are acting like a church, so why not call them a church?
3. Note: Prayer, Missions, Church Planting, Leaders, Baptism, Lord’s Supper, etc. all might accurately be grouped under one or the other of the five basics, or they might be listed as basics also. How does the Spirit guide you about what to consider as the basics of church?
4. Decide what you believe Scripture teaches are the most basic bedrock ingredients of church (not just what men say for their season of history, or Chinese, or Brazilian, or Russian Christians), then build God’s Kingdom on the “elemental basics!”
